I need a little kick in the pants after too much Easter Turkey & chocolate!

Disney Style!
For some of us, we don't seem to fully grow out of our love for Disney. I have always loved everything Disney, but my obsession grew even stronger once I had children.
My daughter's wardrobe definitely has a Disney element, which she tends to want as an everyday staple. I don't mind that, as Disney apparel for children definitely increases the cute factor.
I do love Disney inspired fashion for adults as well, but I don't always want it to dominate my outfit. A more subtle approach is key!
Below is a typical outfit I would style with Disney elements, while still keeping personal style the main ingredient!
This outfit features a few Disney elements. The first is a Mickey Mouse t-shirt found (here). I love this t-shirt because it takes a grow-up approach to the classic Disney character Mickey Mouse.
I have styled it with a black jersey pencil skirt found (here), and Dolce Vita booties found (here).
In keeping with personal style, I have layered a vintage fur vest over the t-shirt. The fur vest adds a little edge, and warmth if you live in Canada like me!
If you know me, you know I love accessories! I am not one to say "less is more" when it comes to layering on the accessories. To keep this outfit simple for daytime, I would usually stick with a chunky watch, similar one found (here), and a few beaded bracelets found (here). I might even add a hair clip if I wasn't having a fab hair day. Minnie Mouse inspired clip found (here).
For transitioning into a nighttime look, I would add on a few more accessories. Maybe a chunky bracelet found (here), and a large cocktail ring found (here).
Another great retailer that does Disney apparel really well, is H&M. I am also crushing on the Aritzia & Disney Collaboration found (here).
To purchase the Minnie Mouse hair clip and Disney inspired bead bracelet from Giddy Up & Grow, you will have to wait until April 7th. My shop is currently closed while I take a much needed mini holiday!!
